BOOKING THE SAUNA
IMPORTANT NOTICE! WE ARE MOVING TEMPORARILY
As we are in an exposed site, next to Cellardyke Tidal Pool and as we were offered the opportunity to run a pop-up, inland, on a less exposed site, we are moving, Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, to Cambo, for their Wonder: Midwinter festival 2-5 January. We will continue to operate Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, there, for the rest of January. Having had 3 storms to contend with, this winter, already, we feel that this is the best option available to us, to keep the sauna operational, over the winter.
We will continue to be open for bookings at the Cellardyke tidal pool location until 21st December and will be moving to Cambo after that. Booking open for both December at Cellardyke and January (currently 2-12 January 2025) at Cambo.
You can choose to book the saunas for private hire or individual seats.
The sauna can be booked as individual seats. If you would like to book it as private hire,

IMPORTANT: NO CHILDREN IN SHARED SESSIONS
Children between 12 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult as part of a private hire. You cannot book individual seat hire for anyone under 18.
Children under the age of 12, are not encouraged to use the sauna. In the extremely rare circumstances, where they will be allowed, children under 12, must be accompanied by an adult on a ratio of 1:1.
Children under 5 are not permitted due to burning risks on the stoves.

Please note the sauna is temporarily moving from its current location at Cellardyke Tidal Pool to Cambo Estate for their Mid Winter Festival.

BOOK the Sauna – At Cambo Estate
From 2nd January, we will be operating, off-site, in the magical woodland setting of Cambo Estate, as Cellardyke Seaside Sauna at Cambo.
As we are in an exposed site, next to Cellardyke Tidal Pool and as we were offered the opportunity to run a pop-up, inland, on a less exposed site, we are moving, Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, to Cambo, for their Wonder: Midwinter festival 2-5 January. We will continue to operate Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, there, for the rest of January. Having had 3 storms to contend with, this winter, already, we feel that this is the best option available to us, to keep the sauna operational, over the winter.
However, the change in location, also offers us the opportunity to integrate with the beautiful natural environment of Cambo Estate and create an enchanted sauna, in a woodland clearing.
Please be aware of this change of location, when booking Cellardyke Seaside Sauna for any dates in January 2025, as the sauna will not be at the seaside and you will not be able to swim.
What you will experience, instead, is a magical woodland setting. Positioned next to the burn that runs through Cambo Estate, tucked-away, between a nature-filled pond and an old coach house, Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, at Cambo, offers an enchanted forest experience, much like a travelers’ encampment, very much imbedded in its nature-filled setting.
